CONSUMER SHARED AGRICULTURE 2022

We will be  offering shares to customers in Bourbon, Clark and Fayette Counties for the 2022 season (surrounding counties also welcome). Most of our vegetables will be started from certified organic seed, all are non GMO. No pesticides or harmful chemicals are applied on this farm, ever.  Since purchasing the farm in 2004 we have used organic compost and cover crops. In more recent years we have invested in making our food even more nutritious by further enhancing the health and mineral contents of our soils and we will continue to utilize OMRI certified enhancements and non GMO/certified organic cover crops. Visitors are also welcome to visit the farm, by appointment.

Our fruit trees are never sprayed so our apples and peaches do not have the "perfect" look of a grocery store item, but all other fruits look comparable and are often much tastier than the conventionally grown ones.  Our chickens are fed certified organic scratch feeds/pellets and are allowed  to forage outside most days (hawks, fox and raccoons can make this challenging at times).

FULL SHARE: Full dozen eggs, 6 - 9 vegetables, seasonal fruit, cooking/drying herbs, and a large flower bouquet.

HALF SHARE: Half dozen eggs, 3 - 7 vegetables, seasonal fruit and herbs. Flowers may be added upon request starting at $10 for a small bouquet.

  1. Fayette County Customers for 2022:  Delivery to Fayette County will begin in May and run through October. We will deliver once per month and are offering Full Shares this year. The full share delivered to Fayette County will be $40.00 per month or $240.00 for 6 months.
  2. For clients able to pick up their shares on Saturdays at the Winchester Clark County Farmers' Market, Full shares are $35 per week./$700 for the full 20 weeks.  $20 per week for a Half Share/ $400 for the full season. The WCCFM opens the second weekend in May this year.
  3. Fayette County customers main drop off points will be in downtown, the Chevy Chase area (to your doorstep in most cases), Fritz Farm at the Summit, Fresh Market and the Rosemont Baptist Church off of Clays Mill Road.  We will contact customers via text to confirm delivery dates/times each month.
  4. Bourbon County Customers are always welcome to come to the farm to pick up a share or we will deliver if you are on our delivery route once per month.
  5. Please see a list below of what we have in the ground and what we will be planting in 2022. We cannot guarantee every item on the list will be available, but hope the weather and conditions will cooperate to offer as many as possible.

Payment may be made by credit card (5% service charge) or check/cash. We will once again accept payments weekly in 2022.
